At SWOS, we make our living splicing and coating synthetic ropes. Serving various markets, including offshore, heavy commercial marine, utility, arborist, and industrial, we fabricate custom rope assemblies from 3/16" diameter to 5" from stock. These ropes may include mooring lines for supply boats ferrying material to offshore platforms, facing lines for push boats on the inter-coastal waterway and inland rivers, head lines for the tug boats assisting in mooring operations for super tankers, winch lines for utility trucks, lifelines and lanyards for the construction industry, and even winch lines for ATV’s.
This fabrication expertise extends from the common everyday lines to complex assemblies, manufactured to precise, critical dimensions. These may include helicopter slings for the department of Defense, to heavy lift slings for the offshore and construction industries.
